No, No and No
by Noemi Vola
A powerful story about the limitations of no and the infinite possibilities of yes.
Right in the middle of whatever Spider is doing – brushing his teeth, reading a book, watching a storm – he starts thinking about Frog. The terrible thing is that Frog isn’t even nice. She never suggests going for a walk, she never cares if anyone else is hot or cold and, most of all, she always says NO. And there are all kinds of noes: the mysterious NO, the incomprehensible NO, even the repeated NO. No matter what Spider proposes – “Frog, do you want some ice-cream?” – the answer is always NO. Spider keeps all the NOES tangled up in his spider web, but when a storm sweeps everything away, it blows in a new friend who will help him discover the value of YES.
