Something Different

Something Different
by Bruno Zocca

Maurice Sendak meets the surreal imagery of Sergio Ruzzier in this original and offbeat tale of a child who imagines the many possible selves he could be.

“I am a child.  Am a child? What if I were something different?” So begins this whimsical exploration of a boy who lets his imagination run wild.  If Max left his bedroom to discover the Wild Things, the young narrator in this story breaks out of his bathroom to encounter himself as he tries on new and different identities.

“If I were a bird, I would sing, and sing, and sing. If I were a storm, I would jump at the sound of my own thunder!” This inviting game of infinite possibilities offers us a glimpse of the multitudes we contain.
